La Casa de Las Madres
A Refuge. An Advocate. A Strong Voice Against Domestic Violence.
La Casa de las Madres offers a comprehensive continuum of support services to domestic violence survivors who need more than a bed for the night or a few weeks of respite to transition to truly violence-free lives. Invoking strength-based empowerment models, their programs facilitate safety and offer transformative opportunities to heal from and end domestic violence.
Each year, their expert prevention and intervention services engage 15,000 community members, touching more than 50,000 lives. All of their services are free of charge, confidential and available to all women, teens and children in various languages, particularly English and Spanish.
A firm advocate of ending violence against women, KicKee supported the struggling mothers by providing them with nearly 600 adorable clothing items, PJs, swaddles, bibs, books, lovies and snuggly plush toys for them and their babies to enjoy!
